What I love is that people are taking the bitterness and hatred Cathy hurls at people, and turning it into something beautiful. This is an opportunity to show solidarity, to support each other, and show the love we have for each other. Even more important than striking back is supporting each other. When we stand together hatemongers can’t knock us down.

I wish that this solidarity didn’t have to come at the expense of trans women’s safety and respect, though.
