Amy Dentata: [tw] Period blood and "feminism"
Okay, I’m just going to to interject real quick and say amydentata you need to shut up. Saying that we’re white doesn’t give us a pass to randomly intrude on PoC’s convesations.Oh, and consuming any form of blood, menstrual blood included, can be unsafe. Also, it’s ew. If you need more iron, eat some damn spinach or something.

I agree with the first part, and I’m backing out now. But I never even made any comments on the menstrual blood part. I agree it’s disgusting, and I agree with the point that western white feminism needs to stop being prescriptive with its body acceptance mantra.
Every response so far is putting words in my mouth, and that’s really aggravating. I went out of my way to make a very clear point, but instead people are inserting the arguments they’re probably used to hearing, instead of the one I actually made.
At any rate, I’ve repeated my point ad nauseum and have nothing else to add except for copy+paste, so I’ll just leave it at that. Feel free to keep reading into things.
