I don’t assume that. However, negative energy isn’t a part of the scientific body of knowledge, so saying it’s “scientifically proven” is just plain wrong. This has nothing to do with whether the concept itself has merit; it has not been proven scientifically, so it is not scientifically proven. I don’t know how else to explain it without getting even more ridiculously tautological.

You aren’t listening. You keep referring to western concepts and I am saying there is a world beyond western concepts. I understand what you’re saying very well because like I’ve said earlier, I am academically educated in science and understand its models. What you’re doing is trying to explain something to me I already know and further digging a hole and shitting on non-western medicine. You’re saying you don’t assume your knowledge trumps all but you’re putting yourself to say an absolute (which you should know is a no-no to assume everything because many things can be proven wrong or improved upon) that using non-western medicine to disprove feminist ideas is plain wrong. LOL

I never even commented on how it relates to feminist ideas. I fucking hate white western feminist fetishization of menstrual blood.

There seems to be two separate conversations happening here. I think you and a few others are assuming that, when I say it’s not scientifically proven, I’m saying it’s not real or that it’s inferior. Which is understandable, because that’s how most people mean it. I may have made a few sarcastic remarks, and that was a bit unfair, but my point wasn’t to say that since it’s not a part of science, it is completely invalid.

Whether or not you agree with western science and its associated body of knowledge, negative energy isn’t a part of it. That’s it. That’s my only point. This has nothing to do with whether it’s real, valid, superior or inferior or equal. The only single point I was making is that negative energy isn’t a part of western science, so it’s disingenuous to say it’s scientifically proven.

There are a lot of words that aren’t in western dictionaries, but they’re still real words used by real people. But it would be disingenuous to say they’re in western dictionaries, because they aren’t. That’s my only point.
