This stunning image shows remarkable details of a dark sunspot across the image bottom and numerous boiling granules which appear like kernels of corn across the top. (BTW, eyeballing the apparent scale of this photo versus other closeups of the sun, it’s safe to say that at least two planet earths could fit within this photo. Fucking two. Planet. Earths. And this is the equivalent of zooming in on the sun’s pores. We are beautifully insignificant.)
